Who we are
Meazy operates Meazy.app, Meazy Mobile Application and may operate other websites and Mobile Applications. It is Meazy's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites and Mobile Applications.
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) regarding your personal information. These include the right to know about personal data collected, the right to delete data, the right to opt out of the sale of personal data, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Meazy is committed to honoring these rights and providing transparency in our data practices.
Data Collection
Certain visitors to Meazy's websites and/or mobile applications choose to interact with Meazy in ways that require Meazy to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Meazy gathers depends on the nature of the interaction.
Meazy collects only the essential information needed to support user interactions and transactions. This includes:
- Username: Collected at sign-up to serve as a visible display name within the app, helping users identify and connect with one another.
- First Name: Collected at sign-up.
- Email Address: Collected during sign-up and used as the login credential for account access. Email addresses are also used for essential communications.
- Date of Birth (DOB): Collected at sign-up to confirm age eligibility (18 years old or older).
- User ID: Assigned to each user to uniquely identify them within the app.
User Content:
- Photos: Includes profile photos and thumbnails for Live Meazes shared by users.
- Direct Messages (DMs): Collected through the in-app chat functionality to enable private communication between users.
- Purchases records: Meazy retains a record of users' purchases within the app to facilitate access to purchase history and ensure smooth transaction support.
All the collected data are used solely for the App Functionality, such as to authenticate the user, enable features, prevent fraud, implement security measures, ensure server up-time, minimize app crashes, improve scalability and performance, or perform customer support.
Collected data can also be used for Analytics, to evaluate user behavior, including to understand the effectiveness of existing product features, plan new features, or measure audience size or characteristics.
Transaction Information
All purchases of Meazies within the Meazy App are processed exclusively through Apple's in-app purchase feature. Meazy does not directly collect or store any sensitive transaction-related information, such as personal or financial data associated with these purchases, as this data is managed securely by Apple. For user payouts, Meazy partners with Stripe to facilitate transactions. Stripe handles the secure processing of payout information, adhering to the highest standards of data protection. By using Meazy, you grant Meazy a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute any content you share on the platform, including profile pictures, thumbnails, Live Meazes, comments, and other user-generated content. This license allows Meazy to display and share your content as needed within the app and for promotional purposes. Private communications, such as direct messages (DMs), are not shared or displayed publicly.
Furthermore, Meazy may collect optional data when users engage with our support services or report issues within the app. For instance, when users choose to report offensive behavior, such as reporting a Meaze, a user profile, or a conversation, the data collected may include the User ID and username of both the reporter and the reported user, device type (iOS or Android), a text field for specifying the reason for the report, and any other required information fields. This data is used exclusively to investigate and address the report and is not utilized for tracking or shared with third parties.
Right to Know About Collected Data
Users have the right to request information about the types of personal data collected by Meazy, how it is used, and whether it is shared with third parties. If you wish to know more about your collected data, please contact us at support@meazy.app.
Right to Delete Personal Data
Users have the right to request the deletion of personal information collected by Meazy. If you wish to delete your account and personal data, please refer to our article Deleting an Account in the Help Center for detailed instructions. Before requesting account deletion, users must ensure that their Meazies balance is zero. Any remaining Meazies must be withdrawn before the account can be deleted. Please note that certain data may be retained as necessary to complete ongoing transactions or comply with legal requirements.
Tracking
The data collected by Meazy is linked to each user's identity to support core app functions, such as account management, essential features, and secure communications. However, we are committed to user privacy and do not use any collected data for tracking purposes. Meazy does not engage in tracking activities that would involve monitoring user behavior across other apps, websites, or services.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale of Personal Data
Meazy does not sell personal data to third parties. If you wish to confirm this or have any concerns regarding the sharing of your data, users can contact us to clarify how their information is managed and obtain assurances that data is not sold.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
Meazy discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Meazy's behalf or to provide services available at Meazy's websites and/or mobile applications, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Meazy's websites and/or mobile applications, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.
Please be aware that text chats and calls conducted through Meazy are not encrypted. This means that the information shared during these communications may be accessible to Meazy or its service providers.
Additionally, live calls conducted on Meazy are not private. The Meazy administrative team and/or third-party service providers facilitating the live calls may have access to the content of these calls. However, Meazy does not store or save video recordings of live calls. Once a live session concludes, the video content is not retained or archived by Meazy.
Non-Discrimination
Meazy respects the rights of users. We will not discriminate against users who choose to exercise their rights to access, delete, or limit the sharing of their personal information.
Third-Party SDKs
To enhance the functionality of the Meazy App, we utilize third-party software development kits (SDKs) that may collect or process limited information as required for their services. Each SDK provider has its own privacy practices, and we encourage users to review these policies to understand how your data may be managed.

Business Transfers
If Meazy, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Meazy goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Meazy may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
Privacy Policy Changes
Although most changes are likely to be minor, Meazy may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and at Meazy's sole discretion. Meazy encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. If you have a Meazy App account, you might also receive an alert informing you of these changes. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
